Triple Star Fire and Security Limited is seeking an experienced, driven, and commercially minded New Business Development Consultant – Maintenance Agreement Sales to join our expanding team. This role is ideal for a confident sales professional with a proven track record of generating new business, building strong client relationships, and selling fire and life‑safety maintenance agreements into commercial, industrial, and multi‑site sectors.
Role Overview
As a New Business Development Consultant specialising in maintenance agreements, you will be responsible for driving growth by identifying, developing, and securing new maintenance contract opportunities. You will work closely with our operations and technical teams to create tailored proposals, deliver compelling presentations to prospective clients, and ensure long‑term customer retention through high-quality service solutions.
This is a results‑focused role requiring excellent communication skills, strong commercial awareness, and the confidence to engage with decision‑makers at all levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new business through proactive prospecting, networking, cold outreach, and market intelligence.
- Promote and sell fire and life‑safety maintenance agreements to new clients.
- Conduct site visits and surveys to understand customer requirements and compliance needs.
- Prepare accurate quotations, proposals, and service packages.
- Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified opportunities.
- Deliver presentations and proposals to stakeholders and decision‑makers.
- Negotiate commercial terms and close deals in line with company targets.
- Work collaboratively with technical, operations, and account management teams.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and reporting.
- Represent the company professionally at meetings, events, and industry functions.
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in B2B sales, business development, or maintenance contract sales (essential).
- Strong understanding of fire safety, security systems, building compliance, or related service‑based industries (preferred).
- Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities, generate leads, and convert them into long‑term contracts.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Commercially aware with a strong understanding of recurring revenue models.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
- Self‑motivated, target‑driven, and comfortable working independently.
- PC literate — confident with CRM systems, digital proposals, and reporting tools.
- Full UK manual driving licence (essential).
