The Digital and Technology team's purpose is to provide cutting-edge digital solutions that are safe and reliable whilst improving efficiency and reducing potential risks for everyone at Triple Point. The Digital Transformation team looks after our core systems, the integration between them, and all aspects of data, from the data warehouse to reporting that provides clear insight into trends. It automates manual business processes, adopts emerging technology such as Gen/Adaptive AI tooling to make TP and our TP'ers more efficient. It also manages our outsourced Salesforce developers and quality assurance specialists to ensure delivery quality and pace.

As our Salesforce Portal Owner / Developer you own the end-to-end client digital journey - the investor and adviser portals and the experiences behind them. You are hands-on in Experience Cloud, building the components and complex financial calculations that power onboarding, illustrations, applications and servicing, and you continually improve the platform. This is a high-trust role: the portals hold significant client and investor personal and financial data in a highly regulated, high-risk part of the business, and you are their day-to-day data owner. It blends Salesforce development, product ownership, UX design and a rigorous risk-and-compliance discipline. During the transformation you steer the partner-delivered rebuild; day to day you own and evolve the live client experience, and remain its in-house owner long after the programme completes.

The Role’s Key Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end client digital journey across the investor and adviser portals - roadmap, UX and delivery.
  • Act as day-to-day data owner for the portal estate, treating data protection as first-order - GDPR / UK GDPR and FCA obligations (including Consumer Duty), data-subject requests, retention and access control - and lead GDPR, security and regulatory incident management (containment, remediation and reporting) with the DPO and Compliance.
  • Build and maintain the portal hands-on in Experience Cloud - Lightning Web Components, Apex and scheduled jobs - across onboarding, illustrations, applications and servicing.
  • Own the complex client-facing financial calculations - illustrations and valuations, interest / return and payment schedules, withdrawals, and exit / buyback logic - keeping them accurate and well-tested.
  • Own onboarding and application journeys end to end - KYC / AML (e.g. LexisNexis), document generation and e-signature (e.g. DocuSign).
  • Design and continuously improve the user experience - journey design, usability, accessibility (WCAG) and prototyping - for an intuitive, self-service-first portal.
  • Keep the estate healthy - access and login (MFA / SSO), correspondence and notifications, tax / ISA statements, and data quality.
  • Lead market and competitor intelligence - benchmark peer offerings and feed findings into the product backlog.
  • Act as secondary deployer for portal releases under the Architect's DevOps and release model, and use AI to accelerate delivery and design (source control, DevOps agents, AI-generated prototypes).

During the transformation

  • Partner with the Salesforce delivery partner on the portal rebuild - shape requirements, acceptance criteria and design, and provide product ownership and technical assurance.
  • Lead the modernisation of portal journeys - modern, reusable, composable experiences that re-use our existing Salesforce data.
  • Support portal DevOps (source control, CI/CD), under the architect's design authority.

Experience

  • Strong, hands-on Experience Cloud (Community) development - LWC, JavaScript, HTML / CSS and Apex.
  • Proven experience building complex, client-facing financial calculations in Salesforce (e.g. illustrations, valuations, payment schedules, withdrawals, exit / buyback).
  • Data protection and regulatory rigour - hands-on experience safeguarding large volumes of personal and financial data under GDPR / UK GDPR and FCA obligations, managing data-subject requests, and handling security and privacy incidents in a regulated environment.
  • Hands-on integration of onboarding and application journeys end to end - KYC / AML providers (e.g. LexisNexis), document generation and e-signature (e.g. DocuSign), and payments.
  • Salesforce development across Service and Experience Cloud, with Sales Cloud awareness (FSC preferred).
  • Strong UX and product design - journey design, usability, accessibility (WCAG), prototyping and design tooling (e.g. Figma).
  • Market and competitor analysis - benchmarking portal and product offerings and translating findings into a backlog.
  • AI-assisted delivery and design - source control, DevOps agents and AI-generated prototypes.

Essential Qualifications & Desirable Experience

  • Essential qualifications: Bachelor's degree of Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related technical discipline. Salesforce Certified Administrator, Platform Developer I and Experience Cloud Consultant - core to this role.
  • Desirable experience: Salesforce Platform Developer II and JavaScript Developer I - given the LWC / Apex build depth; Service Cloud Consultant; Application or System Architect a plus. Financial Services Cloud (FSC) exposure - preferred, not essential. Salesforce DevOps / release experience (source control, CI/CD) to support as secondary deployer. A recognised data-protection / privacy qualification (e.g. BCS Foundation Certificate in Data Protection, or IAPP CIPP/E). Financial services / wealth and investment products (e.g. VCTs, ISAs, income or lending products). Composable / “headerless” front-end patterns and design systems. Working knowledge of Jira and a controlled change / delivery process.

What Success Looks Like

Within the first year: a modernised, benchmarked client journey in delivery; accurate, well-tested financial calculations and a smooth onboarding-to-servicing experience; measurable gains in usability and self-service; and a secure, compliant, well-controlled portal estate (GDPR / UK GDPR and FCA), with clear in-house ownership of the client experience and its data.

Expect technical questions that might involve solving problems on the spot or discussing algorithms. Practise on platforms like LeetCode or HackerRank to get comfortable with the types of questions that often come up.

Know Your Tools and Frameworks
