TripBooka.com is building the platform that helps independent travel advisors compete with the biggest names in travel.

For too long, independent advisors have relied on word of mouth, social media and fragmented tools to grow their businesses, while large online travel companies have dominated through technology and marketing spend. We believe travellers deserve more choice, better service and holidays designed by real experts who genuinely care about their clients.

TripBooka combines marketplace technology, workflow automation and AI to help independent travel advisors attract new customers, manage bookings, build lasting customer relationships and grow their businesses, all from one platform.

We're still at the beginning of our journey, making this an exciting opportunity to join an ambitious startup and help shape the future of independent travel.

We're looking for our first permanent Data Analyst to join TripBooka.

This is a rare opportunity to join an early-stage startup and help build our data capability from the ground up. You'll work directly with the founders and collaborate with Product, Engineering, Marketing and Customer Success to turn data into meaningful insights that drive better decisions.

Whether it's understanding customer behaviour, measuring feature adoption, identifying growth opportunities or improving the customer experience, your work will directly influence the future of TripBooka.

This is a full-time remote role for candidates based in the UK. While you'll primarily work remotely, we'd love someone who enjoys getting together with the team in Newcastle upon Tyne from time to time for planning sessions, collaboration and team meetups.

Responsibilities

  • Analyse product, customer and business data to uncover meaningful insights.
  • Build reports and dashboards that help the team make informed decisions.
  • Monitor key business and product metrics.
  • Identify trends, opportunities and areas for improvement.
  • Work closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing and Customer Success to answer important business questions.
  • Help measure the success of new features and initiatives.
  • Present findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Recommend improvements based on data and customer behaviour.

Qualifications

We're more interested in your curiosity, analytical thinking and problem-solving ability than whether you've used a particular tool or worked in a specific industry.

You’ll likely have:

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to explore data, identify patterns and turn findings into meaningful insights.
  • An understanding of statistics and how data can be used to support decision-making, experimentation and performance measurement.
  • The ability to communicate complex ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience organising, analysing or modelling data to answer business questions.
  • A high level of accuracy, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities while working independently in a remote environment.

You may also have experience with:

  • SQL.
  • Python, R or another analytics or programming language.
  • Dashboard and visualisation tools such as Power BI, Tableau or Looker Studio.
  • Data modelling, reporting or business intelligence.
  • Marketplace, SaaS, e-commerce or travel industry data.

A degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science or another quantitative discipline is beneficial, but it's not essential. We also welcome candidates who have developed their analytical skills through work experience, personal projects, bootcamps or self‑directed learning.

If this role excites you, we'd encourage you to apply even if you don't meet every qualification. We'd much rather speak to someone with strong potential and a passion for solving problems than miss out on a great candidate because they don't tick every box.

Why Apply?

  • Be TripBooka's first permanent Data Analyst and help build our data capability from the ground up.
  • Work directly with the founders and influence product and business decisions.
  • Turn data into insights that genuinely improve the experience for customers.
  • Work across Product, Engineering, Marketing and Customer Success, gaining exposure to every part of the business.
  • Join an ambitious startup using AI and technology to transform independent travel.
  • Competitive salary, equity package and significant opportunities for career progression as TripBooka grows.

If you're looking for an opportunity to make a genuine impact in a fast-growing technology startup, where your ideas matter and your work directly influences the future of the business, we'd love to hear from you.
