You’ll work cross-functionally with Finance, Product, Engineering, and Operations teams to improve processes, strengthen financial controls, and support scalable finance operations.
This role is a hybrid position that requires 1 day per week in our Oxford office.
What You'll Do
- Support daily and month-end Order-to-Cash accounting processes across multiple products and payment platforms.
- Perform high-volume data reconciliations across financial systems, investigating and resolving discrepancies to ensure financial accuracy and completeness.
- Apply accounting principles to analyse transactional activity, prepare reconciliations, and support accurate financial reporting.
- Partner with Finance Systems, Engineering, Product, Sales Operations, FP&A, and Customer Operations to resolve accounting and billing issues and improve business processes.
- Support finance system enhancements, user acceptance testing (UAT), and implementation of new processes and system improvements.
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries, variance analysis, and other month-end close activities.
- Document, maintain, and improve financial processes and internal controls.
- Support internal and external audits by preparing supporting documentation and responding to audit requests.
- Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and improve the efficiency and scalability of finance operations.
- Other general accounting projects and month-end close work as assigned
Skills & Experience
- 2+ years of experience in accounting, finance operations, financial systems, or a related role.
- Experience working with ERP platforms such as Workday and CRM systems such as Salesforce.
- Experience supporting B2C Order-to-Cash processes in a high-volume transaction environment.
- Experience with SQL, Big Query, Power Query, Alteryx, or other data analysis and automation tools.
- Experience participating in finance systems implementations, process automation, or continuous improvement initiatives.
- Experience supporting audits and maintaining strong financial controls.
- Demonstrated ability to use AI tools to improve efficiency, quality, and decision-making in day-to-day work.
- Proven ability to operate effectively with a global-first mindset
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Good understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Experience supporting high-volume transactional finance or Order-to-Cash processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate complex data issues.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/INDEX-MATCH, complex formulas, and working with large datasets.
- Strong systems aptitude and an interest in financial systems and process improvement.
- Excellent organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
