We’re looking for a Staff Product Designer to help design new features that reduce friction and meet the needs of travelers, particularly when they are looking for Hotels. You will be a thought leader for product design across Tripadvisor Hotels.

Be a champion for design thinking within the organisation. Design for a complex two-sided platform within the travel industry. Craft exceptional, user-centric digital experiences within a web product environment. Collaborate on and contribute to the development of a design system that standardizes visual styles, UI patterns, and functional logic across our entire product suite. Design prototypes across multiple fidelity levels to test user flows, validate assumptions, and demonstrate solutions to stakeholders. Ensure the delivery of high-quality, consistent consumer experiences by closely collaborating with software engineers and product managers. Collaborate closely with a dynamic, entrepreneurial team in a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Bring to the team:

  • 5+ years of product design experience at consumer-focused brands or agencies.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead product design projects from initial ideation through detailed execution and delivery, including user interactions, UI transformations, and screen state variations.
  • Experience working in agile teams and a pragmatic approach to delivering within established design frameworks and processes.
  • Proficiency in translating design research, strategic market positioning, and technical requirements into a cohesive design direction, encompassing both visuals and interactions.
  • Exposure to data-driven design principles and decision-making processes.
  • Proven experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • A portfolio showcasing your contributions to digital products, highlighting originality, innovation, and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with user research and experience designing for complex SaaS platforms is a plus.
  • Proven experience creating high-fidelity designs and prototypes in Figma, the tool we use at the company.
