We’re looking for a Staff Product Designer to help design new features that reduce friction and meet the needs of travelers, particularly when they are looking for Hotels. You will be a thought leader for product design across Tripadvisor Hotels.

  • Be a champion for design thinking within the organisation.
  • Design for a complex two‑sided platform within the travel industry.
  • Craft exceptional, user‑centric digital experiences within a web product environment.
  • Collaborate on and contribute to the development of a design system that standardises visual styles, UI patterns, and functional logic across our entire product suite.
  • Design prototypes across multiple fidelity levels to test user flows, validate assumptions, and demonstrate solutions to stakeholders.
  • Ensure the delivery of high‑quality, consistent consumer experiences by closely collaborating with software engineers and product managers.
  • Collaborate closely with a dynamic, entrepreneurial team in a fast‑paced environment.

What You’ll Bring To The Team:

  • 5+ years of product design experience at consumer‑focused brands or agencies.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead product design projects from initial ideation through detailed execution and delivery, including user interactions, UI transformations, and screen state variations.
  • Experience working in agile teams and a pragmatic approach to delivering within established design frameworks and processes.
  • Proficiency in translating design research, strategic market positioning, and technical requirements into a cohesive design direction, encompassing both visuals and interactions.
  • Exposure to data‑driven design principles and decision‑making processes.
  • Proven experience collaborating with cross‑functional teams.
  • A portfolio showcasing your contributions to digital products, highlighting originality, innovation, and strong problem‑solving skills.
  • Familiarity with user research and experience designing for complex SaaS platforms is a plus.
  • Proven experience creating high‑fidelity designs and prototypes in Figma, the tool we use at the company.
