Associate Product Manager | Viator

Viator is seeking an Associate Product Manager (APM) to join our growing product team.

This entry‑level role is designed for individuals with strong curiosity, analytical ability and a passion for delivering customer value through technology.

You’ll work closely with an experienced PM mentor and cross‑functional partners to ship real product features and develop core skills in a hands‑on environment.

This role sits within our B2B Pillar, and will be working on Products that Operators interact with on a daily basis, such as joining Vaitor, listing new and managing existing Products.

This role will focus on contributing to initiatives aligned to company priorities under the guidance of a Senior/Principal Product mentor.

You’ll use data and customer insights to inform your decisions, write detailed product specifications and collaborate with Engineering and Design to bring ideas to life.

Job Location

Hybrid – this role is a hybrid position that requires 2 days per week in our London or Oxford office.

  • What You’ll Do
  • Collaborate with your PM mentor and cross‑functional partners to deliver features that support near‑term goals and align with Viator’s strategic direction
  • Develop a strong understanding of traveler and operator needs, regularly incorporating user feedback and research into your work
  • Write clear, detailed product specifications, including goals, success metrics, edge cases, and open questions
  • Contribute to the planning and prioritization of your team’s backlog, helping break down features into milestones that deliver incremental value
  • Use both quantitative data and qualitative feedback to guide decisions, identify opportunities, and iterate on features
  • Participate in product reviews, roadmap discussions, and release planning with a clear, user‑focused point of view
  • Communicate clearly with stakeholders across Engineering, Design, Product Analytics, and Operations, ensuring expectations are aligned and work is visible
  • Proactively engage with your pod and peers, fostering collaboration and contributing ideas that improve both team dynamics and product outcomes

Skills & Experience

  • 1–3 years of professional experience (internships or full‑time)
  • Experience working within or alongside a Product function products that solve real user problems
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate ideas, decisions, and tradeoffs
  • Ability to work collaboratively in cross‑functional teams and contribute to shared goals
  • Proactive approach to problem‑solving, including breaking down tasks and seeking input from stakeholders
  • Comfort working with data to inform decisions and evaluate success
  • Curiosity, initiative and a growth mindset
  • Exposure to or strong interest in AI technologies and their application in product development
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a technical, business, design, or related field
  • Exposure to product development tools (e. g., Jira, Figma, Confluence, analytics platforms)
  • Experience participating in user research, surveys, or usability testing
  • Familiarity with the travel or marketplace space
  • Basic understanding of AI/ML capabilities or trends in user‑facing applications
  • Demonstrated ability to use AI tools to improve efficiency, quality, and decision‑making in day‑to‑day work.
