Bokun, a Tripadvisor Inc. company, is seeking an accomplished Business Development Executive to join our dynamic Software Sales team.
We are a fast-growing reservation system for the tours and activities industry, operating with the agility of a startup and the support of a large, stable, publicly traded company in Tripadvisor.
As a Business Development Executive, you will play a key role in identifying and cultivating growth opportunities with emerging suppliers and accounts. You will work alongside the Product Sales team, supporting their efforts through insightful analysis and hands-on business development initiatives. Your focus will be on seeking out growing companies, understanding their unique needs, and nurturing long-term relationships that drive mutual success.
You will contribute directly to revenue generation by converting new suppliers and reactivating dormant accounts, while also supporting broader team efforts through performance analysis and recommendations to the Senior Sales Manager. This hybrid of commercial execution and strategic insight makes the role ideal for someone who is both analytical and results-driven.
You may have held roles such as Senior Sales Specialist, Business Development, and have a strong sales background.
What You’ll Do:
- Partner closely with the Senior Business Development Manager and Sales team to track and interpret key sales performance metrics.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of Salesforce dashboards and reports that guide decision-making and pipeline strategy.
- Identify trends and opportunities within the sales funnel, offering actionable insights to optimize sales efforts and support scalable growth.
- Proactively seek out and engage growing or high-potential businesses, converting them into active Bokun platform users.
- Nurture and develop relationships with new and existing suppliers, helping them understand the value of Bokun and supporting their onboarding and activation.
- Reactivate dormant accounts through targeted outreach and consultative engagement.
- Conduct high-quality discovery and solution-selling via phone and webinars to demonstrate the benefits of our Experiences SaaS platform.
- Consistently meet and exceed individual performance targets, including new supplier acquisition, account reactivation, and other related KPIs.
What You’ll Bring to the Team:
- 5+ years of experience in sales, business development, or a similar role with hands-on exposure to sales targets and performance metrics.
- A proven ability to identify and grow new business opportunities, ideally in a SaaS or B2B environment.
- Experience in sales reporting and data analysis, with the ability to derive meaningful insights from CRM systems (Salesforce preferred).
- Strong communication skills and a consultative approach to building relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Self-motivation and the ability to operate independently, balancing commercial execution with strategic thinking.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, and collaborative environment.
- A track record of exceeding performance targets through proactive engagement and thoughtful account nurturing.
- High commercial awareness and a passion for identifying strategic opportunities for growth.
If you’re driven, curious, and excited by the prospect of helping growing businesses succeed through innovative technology, we’d love to hear from you. At Bokun, we invest in talent, offer competitive compensation packages, and provide an empowering culture with room for continuous development and advancement.
