We’re looking for a Staff Product Designer to help design new features that reduce friction and meet the needs of travelers, particularly when they are looking for Hotels. You will be a thought leader for product design across Tripadvisor Hotels.

- Craft exceptional, user-centric digital experiences within a web product environment.
- Collaborate on and contribute to the development of a design system that standardizes visual styles, UI patterns, and functional logic across our entire product suite.
- Design prototypes across multiple fidelity levels to test user flows, validate assumptions, and demonstrate solutions to stakeholders.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality, consistent consumer experiences by closely collaborating with software engineers and product managers.

What You’ll Bring to the team:
- 5+ years of product design experience at consumer-focused brands or agencies.
- Demonstrated ability to lead product design projects from initial ideation through detailed execution and delivery, including user interactions, UI transformations, and screen state variations.
- Experience working in agile teams and a pragmatic approach to delivering within established design frameworks and processes.
- Proficiency in translating design research, strategic market positioning, and technical requirements into a cohesive design direction, encompassing both visuals and interactions.
- Exposure to data-driven design principles and decision-making processes.
- Proven experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- A portfolio showcasing your contributions to digital products, highlighting originality, innovation, and strong problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with user research and experience designing for complex SaaS platforms is a plus.
- Proven experience creating high-fidelity designs and prototypes in Figma, the tool we use at the company.
