We're creating a new Business Operations Manager role to lead transformation initiatives across our Order-to-Cash (OTC) function - taking complex, ambiguous challenges and turning them into documented, scalable processes.You'll work at the intersection of strategy and execution, partnering with our Billing, Collections, Cash Application, and Accounting teams to design and implement processes that scale our business globally. This is a highly project-based role - you'll take ownership of standalone or custom operations, assess and optimize the teams, standardize processes to fit our operating model, build solutions for gaps, and hand off to operational teams before moving to the next transformation project.This role offers high visibility, significant autonomy, and the opportunity to shape how our organization operates across multiple regions and business units.What You'll DoProcess Design & Transformation (40%)Lead end-to-end transformation projects across the OTC function from requirements through implementation and handover to operations teamsDesign future-state processes for new products, services, and acquired businessesDocument current-state operations across European regions, identifying inefficiencies and standardization opportunitiesCreate comprehensive process documentation (SOPs, system guides, training materials) that enable teams to execute independentlyTake over standalone business operations, assess current state, and design integration path to standardized processesProject Execution & Delivery (35%)Deliver high-priority OTC initiatives including operations optimization, standardization, and automation expansion across business unitsLead project-based team transformations - temporarily manage teams to assess capabilities, optimize structure, implement new processes, and transition to operational leadershipBreak down custom or standalone processes and integrate them into standardized "happy path" operationsCoordinate cross-functional workstreams across Product, Sales, Legal, Customer Success, and regional finance teamsManage project timelines, dependencies, and risks, escalating blockers proactivelyPilot and test new processes before scaling globallyExecute transformation cycles - build, implement, hand off, and move to next initiativeSystems & Automation (15%)Become proficient across OTC technology stack including NetSuite, billing platforms, collections tools (Stuut), payment processors (Stripe)Identify automation opportunities and work with technical teams to implement configurations and integrationsBuild functionality to address gaps when standardizing custom processesTest new system functionality and troubleshoot issues before rolloutSupport M&A integration work and post-acquisition operations standardizationStakeholder Management & Collaboration (10%)Partner with operations managers (Billing, Collections, Cash Application) as a consultant on how new initiatives should be structured for scalabilityBuild relationships with regional finance teams globally across multiple time zonesCommunicate project status to Senior Manager with clear updates on progress and risksManage expectations during team transitions and handoversKey Projects & InitiativesYour work will include initiatives such as:Business unit integration: Taking over operations from specific business lines or regions, standardizing processes, optimizing teams, and transitioning to centralized operationsRegional harmonization: Standardizing billing and collections across European officesProcess automation: Identifying manual workflows and implementing scalable solutionsNew product launches: Designing OTC processes for new offerings before they scaleThis role operates on a project-based model - you'll typically own a major initiative for ~6 months, see it through to successful handoff, then move to the next transformation opportunity.What We're Looking For5+ years experience in business operations, finance operations, or process improvement rolesBackground in Order-to-Cash, billing, accounts receivable, collections, or revenue operationsProject-based transformation experience - taking over teams/processes, improving them, and handing off successfullyStrong project management fundamentals with ability to run multiple complex initiatives simultaneouslyProficiency with ERP systems (NetSuite strongly preferred)Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authorityExceptional documentation and communication skillsExperience managing stakeholders at senior leadership levelPersonal Attributes & Working StyleSelf-starter who takes extreme ownership of outcomesComfortable with handoffs -
