We are on the lookout for someone extraordinary to join us as National Account Manager, Impulse, to own and drive commercial performance across key customers in the Impulse and Convenience channel (e.g., petrol stations, convenience groups, wholesale customers). The role is responsible for delivering revenue, margin, and distribution targets while strengthening our brand presence in high‑velocity, on‑the‑go consumption occasions. As part of a small but growing Impulse team, the NAM will be both strategic and hands‑on, managing national relationships while supporting execution at regional and store level.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage and grow national and regional accounts across the impulse/convenience channels
- Lead annual plans, negotiations, pricing, and promotional agreements
- Identify and secure new business opportunities within the channel, driving distribution and brand visibility
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver strong in‑store execution, promotional activity, and NPD launches, providing clear briefs and follow‑up
- Own customer P&Ls and deliver sales, margin, and promotional ROI targets
- Managing budgets and investments effectively
- Use EPOS and customer data to monitor performance, identify opportunities
- Provide regular forecasts, updates, and recommendations to the wider team
About you:
- Proven experience as NAM, NAE or equivalent within FMCG (impulse, convenience, beverages, snacking, or related categories preferred)
- Strong negotiation and relationship‑building skills
- Experience working with wholesalers and convenience retailers
- Commercially astute with strong P&L ownership
- Comfortable operating in an SME environment: hands‑on, agile, resourceful
- Data‑driven approach with ability to turn insights into actions
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder‑management skills
This position is open to UK citizens, permanent residents, or individuals who have the legal right to work in the UK on a valid visa.
