Job Overview
We are seeking a Virtual Commercial Card (VCC) Sales Manager for our European team to drive sales and revenue growth in the B2B payments and travel Fintech ecosystem. This is a key regional role responsible for developing TripLink’s virtual card business among OTAs, travel management companies, and enterprise clients. The role requires a strategic thinker with a strong commercial instinct, hands-on sales ability, and a deep understanding of the digital payments landscape.
In this Role, you’ll get to:
- Manage and achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets for TripLink’s Virtual Commercial Card products across Europe.
- Drive end-to-end sales activities, from pipeline generation and lead qualifications to contract negotiation and onboarding.
- Identify and engage with key decision-makers across the travel, hospitality, and corporate sectors to expand market share and promote TripLink’s VCC capabilities.
- Develop market entry strategies for new geographies, leveraging local partnerships and regulatory insights.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with global product, compliance, risk, and operations teams to deliver a superior customer journey and ensure local market readiness.
- Provide market intelligence and actionable feedback to shape product roadmaps, pricing strategy, and marketing initiatives.
- Represent Trip.com Group at industry events, conferences, and partner meetings, positioning the company as a thought leader in virtual payments innovation.
- Champion a data-driven approach to sales performance, reporting, and forecasting.
- Operate autonomously while maintaining close alignment with global business goals - combining entrepreneurial drive with strong corporate discipline.
What you’ll Need to Succeed:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Virtual Commercial Card, B2B payments, or Fintech-related sales role - ideally with exposure to the travel, e-commerce, or financial services industries.
- Proven success in enterprise or partner-based sales, demonstrating the ability to open new markets, close complex deals, and manage long sales cycles.
- Strong understanding of commercial card products, payment flows, interchange, and rebate economics - particularly within a travel industry context.
- Commercially sharp and analytically minded, with the ability to interpret financial data, model deal economics, and articulate value propositions clearly to clients.
- Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills, capable of influencing senior stakeholders across multiple geographies.
- High level of compliance and regulatory awareness, with a clear understanding of KYC/AML principles and local payment regulations.
- A self-starter mindset; comfortable working independently in a regional role while engaging cross-border teams effectively.
- Strong communication and presentation abilities, able to convey technical and financial concepts to both business and technical audiences.
- Willingness to travel regionally, maintaining close engagement with clients and partners.
