We are looking for a confident Benefits Specialist to take ownership of benefits administration (70%) while also supporting accurate and timely payroll operations (30%) across Europe. This role is ideal for someone who is confident managing multi-country benefits, collaborating with vendors, and ensuring a smooth, consistent employee experience. You will work closely with HR, Finance, Legal, and external partners to ensure our programs remain compliant, competitive and employee-focused.
In this Role, you’ll get to:
- Lead day-to-day benefits operations across Europe, ensuring smooth delivery and a strong employee experience.
- Manage the full benefits lifecycle, including enrolment, eligibility, renewals, vendor coordination, and payments.
- Partner with brokers and insurers to maintain service quality and resolve issues promptly.
- Support annual renewals, procurement, and ongoing programme reviews, including benchmarking and improvements.
- Monitor utilisation and feedback to keep offerings competitive and relevant.
- Ensure compliance with local legislation and maintain accurate documentation and data.
- Provide clear, supportive guidance to employees on benefit programmes.
- Support accurate, timely payroll processing across multiple European countries.
- Manage monthly inputs such as new hires, terminations, changes, leave and benefit updates.
- Perform checks, reconciliations and data validations to maintain payroll accuracy.
- Work closely with payroll vendors and internal teams to meet deadlines and statutory requirements.
- Resolve payroll queries and discrepancies promptly.
- Maintain accurate HRIS/payroll data and support reporting for audits, compliance and forecasting.
What you’ll Need to Succeed:
- 5–8+ years of experience in benefits and/or payroll across European countries.
- Strong background in benefits administration, vendor management and multi-country program coordination.
- Good knowledge of UK/European payroll processes, statutory rules and compliance requirements.
- Experience working with HRIS and payroll systems, with strong Excel/Google Sheets ability.
- High level of accuracy, organisation and attention to detail.
- Clear and confident communication skills, with an employee-first mindset.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, international environment.
- CIPP or similar certification is a plus.
