Our commitment to Freedom, Equity, Responsibility, and ethical banking sets us apart as a leader in the financial sector., The primary purpose of this role is to support the Chief Finance Officer (CFO) on ad-hoc financial analysis as required to provide meaningful insight and presentations in support of business priorities across the business objectives of "Grow, Simplify and Evolve" in 2025
Key deliverables include:

Product Profitability analysis using existing internal allocation models

Intercompany recharge analysis and support for stakeholder meetings to achieve annual handshake agreements on allocation keys

Deep Dive financial analysis on costs to support improved commercial awareness on cost drivers of business

Preparations for SMT and Board strategy sessions in April and June

Preparation of dashboards for key performance data

Preparation of fair value costings for retail products in support of our Consumer Duty assessments

Review of investment benefits case processes

Cover for financial accounting month end processes as required to enable existing SMEs to work on transformation projects

Strong financial analysis experience with a strong commercial understanding to draw insight from data and translate it into real change in business activity

Good presentation building skills in PowerPoint, able to take direction to support CFO in building powerful narratives

Ideally, you will have with an accounting, banking, or relevant qualification.

Ability to discuss and present information in an audience-appropriate and digestible format.

Proven ability to prioritize and sequence multiple workstreams across stakeholder groups while maintaining the highest attention to detail.
We are delighted to be currently recruiting for a Finance analyst to join us on a 3-month day rate contractor basis. We have determined this role as likely to be inside IR35 and is available at £400 – £500 day rate depending on experience.
This role can be done on a hybrid or predominantly remote basis – some travel to the Bristol head office may be required., In return for your hard work and expertise, you will receive a day rate of up to £500 per day, depending on experience.
