Key Responsibilities
- EMS Leadership: Oversee day-to-day electronic assembly and manufacturing activities, ensuring technical specifications are met.
- Strategic Planning: Use your experience in EMS to plan and monitor complex production schedules and meet demanding delivery targets.
- Performance & Data: Monitor production efficiency and quality through data analysis, implementing Lean or Six Sigma methodologies to reduce waste.
- Technical Compliance: Ensure all products meet strict electrical quality standards and that the facility remains compliant with health, safety, and industry-specific regulations.
- Team Development: Lead, mentor, and upskill production staff, fostering a culture of high performance and technical accountability.
- Asset Management: Ensure specialized electronics manufacturing equipment is maintained, calibrated, and fit for use.
- Inventory & Supply Chain: Monitor technical stock levels and work with procurement to manage the complexities of electronic component lead times.
Requirements
- MANDATORY: Substantial experience in an Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS) or Electrical Manufacturing environment.
- Proven Leadership: Extensive experience supervising or managing teams, with a focus on leadership and supervisory development.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with PCB assembly, electrical testing, and high-precision manufacturing processes.
- Hands-on Problem Solver: A practical approach combined with the ability to use production data to drive process improvements.
- Communication: Strong ability to communicate technical issues to both the shop floor and senior management.
Qualifications: Background in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (B.Tech/B.Sc) or an MBA is highly desirable. Good in customer management.
