The Role
- You’ll be supporting a small, focused H & S team to deliver an effective service to this hugely successful multi-site business.
- This will involve developing your H & S knowledge so you can provide advice to site staff to enable compliance and best practice.
- You’ll learn to conduct site HSQ Audits with associated reporting and action follow-ups, work with other internal teams to ensure H & S compliance; as well as manage the HSQ Induction process for new starters.
- Maintaining the Company’s HSQ Management System will be a core activity in this role, becoming a 'super user' with the ability to develop its use.
- You’ll also receive training in accident investigation and COSHH assessments to support the team, and get involved with meetings, workshops and forums both internally and externally.
About You
- You’ll be able to show a basic understanding of Health, Safety, Quality procedures and may have already gained COSHH or other H&S qualifications.
- Microsoft Office to intermediate level is essential with experience of data entry and maintaining databases such as CRM systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are also essential for this role.
