The Role
An experienced IT and security professional who owns a broad and high-impact remit. As Trint’s IT Operations Associate, this role is the driving force behind Trint's IT operations and information security. Security is a genuine differentiator for us, our customers choose Trint in part because of the trust we've built around how we handle their data. This role is central to maintaining and advancing that reputation, both internally and externally. This is a hands‑on, varied role spanning everything from day‑to‑day IT operations to leading the ISO 27001 certification, supporting customer security assessments, and evaluating the tools and technology that power our business. This role should hold a qualification or training in cyber security or information security management.
Location: London (Hybrid: 2 days in office, 3 days remote)
Information Security & Compliance
- Leading the maintenance, updating and communication of all security policies and procedures across Trint
- Ownership of the ISO 27001 certification and Cybersmart (as well as any other certifications Trint decides on in the future). This includes gathering evidence, evolving documentation, coordinating audits and working with key stakeholders to ensure ongoing compliance.
- Continue to raise awareness of security policies across the business and auditing adherence to them
- Supporting security assessments for prospective and existing customers
- Managing the vendor risk process, including assessing third‑party tools and services against our security standards
Technology & Tool Evaluation
- Reviewing and assessing current and prospective tools used across the business to determine their suitability, security posture and value
- Reviewing and signing off new tools to be onboarded in the business
- Maintaining an up‑to‑date view of the technology landscape across the business and making recommendations to leadership
IT Operations
- Managing all IT equipment and logistics, including onboarding setup and offboarding processes
- Supporting employees with IT queries and equipment needs, ensuring everyone is set up for success from day one
- Maintaining IT asset registers, software licences and access management records
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience within an IT Support, SysAdmin, or IT Operations environment
- 2+ years of practical experience working within an ISO 27001 framework. You must be comfortable with evidence collection, maintaining compliance documentation, and assisting with internal or external audits.
- Training or certifications in cybersecurity, network security, or information management
