The Role

We’re looking for an Accounts Assistant to join our Finance team and take ownership of the day-to-day transactional finance activity that keeps Trint’s billing, collections and payables running smoothly. Reporting to the Finance Manager, this is a hands‑on role covering invoicing, credit control, expense processing and core reconciliations — ideal for someone early in their finance career who wants solid grounding in accounts receivable and payable at a fast-moving SaaS business.

Why we’re hiring for this role

As Trint scales, our Finance team needs dedicated support on the transactional side of the business so the wider team can focus on reporting, forecasting and compliance. This role is a chance to build a strong foundation in finance operations, with plenty of support from the team around you.

You’ll be responsible for…

  • Accounts Receivable & Billing
    • Raising and issuing Enterprise and Self-Serve invoices, including amendments, as deals close and terms change
    • Owning credit control: chasing overdue balances and monitoring debtor positions
    • Managing customer admin — portals, forms, and other billing documentation
    • Supporting deferred revenue tracking for Enterprise and Self-Serve billing, and Mobile App income postings
  • Accounts Payable & Expenses
    • Processing supplier invoices and employee expense claims accurately and on time
    • Reconciling company credit card transactions
    • Processing supplier payments in line with agreed payment runs
  • Reconciliations & Month-End Support
    • Preparing bank, Stripe, credit card, AR, and AP reconciliations as part of the monthly close
    • Flagging discrepancies and following through to resolution with the wider finance team

Must have qualifications & experience:

  • 1–2 years’ experience in an accounts receivable, accounts payable, or finance assistant role
  • Strong Excel skills and high attention to detail
  • Confident communicator — comfortable chasing customers on payment and liaising with suppliers
  • Organised, with the ability to manage recurring weekly and monthly deadlines

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in a SaaS or tech environment
  • Exposure to Xero, Stripe, or Spendesk
  • Studying towards, or interested in starting, AAT or a similar qualification
