Are you ready to rethink your routine? We’re looking for a UX/UI Designer to join our UX/UI team at Trinny London. This role will report into the Head of UX/UI and you will collaborate cross-functionally with a wider group of innovative and inclusive colleagues and leaders. You’ll be passionate and confident, with a proven track record of delivering innovative, customer-centric solutions across various platforms.

The Role: Your daily to-dos might look like this:

  • Design intuitive and engaging user interfaces for web applications, focusing on usability, accessibility, and visual appeal.
  • Work closely with the Junior UX Researcher to incorporate user feedback and testing results into design iterations.
  • Support in conducting user testing and gathering feedback to continuously iterate and improve the user experience of our internal tools and platforms.
  • Translate user research and business requirements into user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mock-ups.
  • Champion user-centred design principles and advocate for the needs of our internal customers.
  • Develop reusable UI components that contribute to the overall cohesion of the site.
  • Work with teams like marketing and product to ensure design consistency and alignment with business goals.
  • Assist in delivering strategic UX/UI projects, ensuring deadlines are met and design objectives are achieved.
  • Partner closely with our Developers throughout the design and development process, ensuring seamless implementation and technical feasibility of your designs.
  • Stay abreast of the latest UX/UI trends and best practices, constantly seeking new ways to enhance our design systems and processes.
  • Be agile and adaptable in your approach to design requests.
  • Have the opportunity to mentor junior members of the team and share your knowledge and expertise in the field.

Requirements: These skills will help you go far in this role:

  • Degree in graphic design or a related field.
  • A compelling portfolio that highlights your experience designing intuitive and visually captivating user interfaces for web platforms.
  • A passion for solving complex problems and a keen attention to detail, ensuring consistency and high-quality output in all design deliverables.
  • Experience working within an agile development environment, collaborating closely with developers and other stakeholders.
  • A solid grasp of user-centred design principles and methodologies, encompassing user research, information architecture, interaction design, and visual aesthetics.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard design tools like Figma, or equivalent software. Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite software is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, with the skill to clearly articulate your design choices and rationale to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Awareness of accessible design standards and how to incorporate them effectively into your work.
  • Previous experience in the luxury beauty and/or fashion industry is a plus.
