Are you ready to rethink your routine? We’re looking for a Retail Operations Manager to join our Retail HQ team. Reporting into our Retail Director, our Retail Operations Manager will ensure that the day-to-day operational requirements for all store activities are conducted accurately and in accordance with internal and external requirements.

The Role: Your daily to-dos might look like this:

  • Store Operations & Project Management: Owning and utilising the Retail Calendar to effectively deliver against relevant timescales and disseminate information across all departments. Lead each store opening from a Retail perspective, alongside our Commercial team utilising the Retail Openings Calendar and communicating updates. With our Operations department, improve efficiency and business performance, by optimising inventory control, monitoring stock loss, and implementing corrective action plans. Partner with our Regional Sales Managers to identify gaps and opportunities within the retail operations space. Be the first point of contact for retail projects, ensuring that they are delivered to required timescales and on budget, whilst communicating throughout head office and to store teams. Collaborate with host stores and external providers for seamless opening, maintenance and upgrades. Be responsible for operational training for project launches and process improvements, utilising software and tools like Deputy, TL Admin and ConnectPos. Manage the Retail Operations budget, working with Finance to ensure targets are met and cost efficiencies identified.
  • Health & Safety: Develop and maintain Health and Safety operational guidance for each location - ensuring relevant training is up-to-date in accordance with local legislation of each market. Liaise closely with the appointed Health and Safety Consultant to ensure continuous development of procedures in line with legislation and industry requirements. Ensure all risk assessments are completed and filed in accordance with legislation. Manage the PAT testing process for stores. Ensure any accident reports are completed, followed up and filed accurately in liaison with the People Team. Liaise with stores on Fire Risk Assessments and extinguisher requirements. Responsible for arrangement of first aider training for each site.
  • People Management: Be responsible for line management & development of Retail Coordinator and Retail Operations Assistant, and oversee all relevant Retail administrative tasks/projects. Define Retail Operations Strategy in alignment with Retail Director and communicate this effectively to wider business.

  • Hybrid (Office 3 times per week) and happy to travel to stores where necessary.
  • Demonstrable experience in a head office retail ops position, ideally within a luxury / premium space, working with suppliers and concession host stores.
  • Experience managing and supporting a team, fostering a culture of inclusion and diversity.
  • Be an ambassador for Trinny London.
  • Champion of operational efficiency, driven by process and attention to detail.
  • Can-do, positive attitude.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, placing an emphasis on cross functional relationships and collaboration.
