The Role
As an Audit Assistant Manager, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality audit engagements while supporting the development of junior team members and helping to build strong client relationships. Responsibilities will include:
- Managing audit assignments from planning through to completion
- Leading fieldwork and reviewing the work of junior team members
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Identifying audit risks and ensuring appropriate testing is performed
- Preparing and reviewing financial statements
- Supporting managers and partners with client delivery and business development activities
- Coaching, mentoring and developing junior members of the team
- Ensuring audits are delivered on time and to the highest professional standards
About You
We're keen to speak with candidates who have:
- ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualification
- External audit experience gained within practice
- Experience leading audit engagements and managing client relationships
- Strong technical accounting and audit knowledge
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- A proactive and collaborative approach
- The ability to coach and develop junior colleagues
- Ambition to continue progressing their career within a growing firm
