The predicted salary is between 20000 - 25000 £ per year.

Hours: 20 hours per week, Term time only plus 13 days (190 working days) Fixed Term Contract (1 year).

This role is offered on a 20-hour per week basis and provides flexible working arrangements, offering an excellent opportunity to achieve a positive work-life balance while meeting the needs of the academy. The specific working pattern will be agreed with the successful candidate.

What You’ll Bring to the Team

You will play a central role in maintaining an exceptional outdoor environment, ensuring our grounds are safe, welcoming, and well cared for, enhancing the daily experience of pupils, staff, and visitors. Through hands-on gardening and groundskeeping, you will make a visible impact on the life of the school – maintaining lawns, caring for planted areas, and keeping outdoor spaces safe, tidy, and appealing throughout the year. Your work will help create an environment the whole school community can enjoy and take pride in.

Alongside your outdoor responsibilities, you will work as part of a dedicated site team, supporting the wider upkeep of the school and helping to ensure internal areas remain safe, clean, and well presented. With a proactive and self-motivated approach, you will take ownership of your work, identifying areas for improvement and responding effectively to maintain high standards across the site. Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team, your initiative and attention to detail will be key to sustaining a high-quality environment.
