Scale 5/6 (points 12–22). Actual salary £24,895 – £29,336 per annum. Hours: 37 hours per week, Term Time Only (plus 8 days).

We are seeking to appoint a SEND Support Worker to provide administrative and support to the SEND team, including:

  • Deliver small group targeted interventions
  • Track and monitor the success of interventions
  • Create appropriate resources for targeted students
  • Work closely with students on caseload to support them to thrive
  • Work in partnership with teachers and support staff to meet needs of child
  • Monitoring SEND data
  • Supporting SEND transition processes and systems
  • Supporting SEND Parent meetings and communication
  • Contributing to EHCP based IEPs and the 3 to thrive register

What we need:

  • At least 5 GCSEs at grade C or 4/5 or above, including English and Maths
  • Evidence of experience working with young people with a range of SEND needs
  • Ability to forge strong and positive relationships with students to motivate and inspire them to achieve their goals
  • Experience of supporting young people in a classroom environment
  • Ability to prioritise work and manage tasks to meet tight deadlines
