This is an exciting time to join the founding team of a brand‑new school, Trinity Academy Leeds as it continues to grow and develop. Trinity Academy Leeds opened its doors in September 2021 to 240 students from across the city and has already established a strong culture of excellence where all staff are united under the same shared mission, to enrich and strengthen the life choices and chances of the young people in east Leeds and beyond. Our school is now in its fifth year and currently has 1,177 students enrolled. We had our first Ofsted inspection in May 2024 and achieved ‘outstanding in all areas’. Trinity Academy Leeds is part of a wider family of schools within Trinity Multi Academy Trust.

The role of English Learning Mentor will be key in establishing and maintaining this culture, in supporting our young people in making the right choices, in working hard and in being kind; helping them to ‘Reach Higher, See Further and Shine Brighter’. If you are passionate about working with young people in an inner‑city context, live and breathe high expectations and ‘go the extra mile’ to support, inspire and form relationships of mutual trust and respect with young people, then I would encourage you to apply.
What we need:
- Good numeracy and literacy skills
- Experience of basic technology, PC, internet, MS Office packages
- Ability to relate well to children and young people
- Experience of working with, or caring for, children or young people of relevant age
