In September 2025 we began working with Trinity Multi Academy Trust with a view to joining their family of academies. Trinity is a growing and respected trust currently comprising of 11 academies, spanning primary to post‑16 education and they have a strong and proud track record of helping schools to make a lasting, positive difference in the lives of young people. It’s an exciting time to be part of St Thomas’ as we enter this new chapter.

We are seeking to appoint an outstanding, passionate and inspirational teacher to join the team as Deputy SENDCo. In this role you will support the SENDCo by:

  • strategically leading the direction and development of support for SEND pupils and ensuring they are supported to reach their full potential.
  • raising standards of pupil attainment and achievement by developing and enhancing the teaching practice of others.
  • effectively evaluating the impact of the above and strategically planning for improvement in the quality of pedagogy within the area.
