The predicted salary is between 50000 - 60000 £ per year.
The role is part of a small and inclusive 2nd line Risk Team based in London, and is a key part of the TrinityBridge internal control framework within the second line of defence.
Responsibilities
- Managing the risk event process, ensuring recorded risk events are reviewed and appropriately investigated to resolution.
- Support and provide oversight on the execution of the Risk and Control Self Assessments (RCSA) program across key functions. Assess and collate RCSA results, review findings and report feedback to senior management.
- Provide day-to-day support for the business, developing trusted relationships across the division, and collaborating to improve risk management awareness.
- Analysing the current control environment, assessing the design, operating effectiveness and business evidence of controls.
- Assist in the development and timely production of meaningful management information and reporting for the Risk and Compliance Committees.
- Supporting the business in completing robust risk assessments for new projects and initiatives to ensure the suitability of current controls and/or that new controls are implemented as part of the project.
- Assisting the team with ad-hoc and project initiatives as required.

- Prior experience in risk management (1st or 2nd line).
- Positive attitude, high level of integrity and intellectual curiosity.
- A willingness to learn new skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Pro-active and capable of providing constructive challenge.
- Ability to work independently within a defined remit, managing schedule and multiple objectives.
IT IS NOT ESSENTIAL BUT IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU:
- Prior experience of working in an Asset Management firm.
- Experience of performing control testing and risk assessments.
- Experience in gathering, analysing and structuring data using excel (including pivot tables).
