Overall Summary: The role is part of a small and inclusive 2nd line Risk Team based in London, and is a key part of the TrinityBridge internal control framework within the second line of defence.
Responsibilities:
- Managing the risk event process, ensuring recorded risk events are reviewed and appropriately investigated to resolution.
- Support and provide oversight on the execution of the Risk and Control Self Assessments (RCSA) program across key functions.
- Assess and collate RCSA results, review findings and report feedback to senior management.
- Provide day-to-day support for the business, developing trusted relationships across the division, and collaborating to improve risk management awareness.
- Analysing the current control environment, assessing the design, operating effectiveness and business evidence of controls.
- Assist in the development and timely production of meaningful management information and reporting for the Risk and Compliance Committees.
- Supporting the business in completing robust risk assessments for new projects and initiatives to ensure the suitability of current controls and/or that new controls are implemented as part of the project.
- Assisting the team with ad-hoc and project initiatives as required.

- Prior experience in risk management (1st or 2nd line).
- Positive attitude, high level of integrity and intellectual curiosity.
- A willingness to learn new skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Pro-active and capable of providing constructive challenge.
- Ability to work independently within a defined remit, managing schedule and multiple objectives.
IT IS NOT ESSENTIAL BUT IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU:
- Prior experience of working in an Asset Management firm.
- Experience of performing control testing and risk assessments.
- Experience in gathering, analysing and structuring data using excel (including pivot tables).
