TrinityBridge is seeking an experienced Account Manager to join our Intermediary Partnerships team. The role will be responsible for maintaining and growing relationships with Independent Financial Advisers (IFAs) and Paraplanners across the UK, with a focus on TrinityBridge's range of investment solutions. This is a home-based role which requires proactive telephone and Microsoft Teams meeting engagement. Some travel will be required to attend team meetings and updates in London and occasionally in other TrinityBridge offices across the UK. In addition, some face-to-face client meetings may also be required. The role holder will also be part of a supportive and collegiate environment and collaborate with colleagues from across the business including Fund Managers, Investment Specialists, DDQ/RFP, Intermediary Support team, Marketing and other business development peers.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain trusted IFA relationships through proactive engagement, clear communication, and consistent service delivery, acting as the primary point of contact for fund-related queries and support.
- Conduct regular outbound calls and Teams meetings with IFAs and Paraplanners to promote the fund range, share updates, and build long-term relationships.
- Deliver virtual fund presentations, webinars, and product updates to IFAs and other Financial Services firms.
- Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities within existing and prospective IFAs and Financial Services firms.
- Provide IFAs and Paraplanners with fund performance data, market commentary, and technical/product support.
- Work closely with the Investment Specialist Team to ensure coordinated approach to supporting accounts.
- Work closely with the Marketing team to plan digital campaigns, webinars, and email communications targeted at the IFA channel.
- Collaborate closely with the Account Director to ensure a joined-up coverage approach for shared accounts.
- Remain up-to-date on regulatory requirements (FCA, Consumer Duty) affecting fund distribution.
- Maintain knowledge of current regulatory practice.
Regulatory responsibilities | Compliance/T&C
- Demonstrate an understanding of the regulatory framework relevant to the role, whilst practicing effective risk management taking account of outcomes for clients.
- Understand, follow and demonstrate compliance with all relevant internal and external rules, regulations and procedures that apply to the conduct of the business.
- Follow the principles and rules of the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and the internal requirements set out in the Compliance Manual, local and Group Compliance and Risk policies.
- Comply with the PA Dealing policy.
- Ensure required training is kept up to date and completed within the set timeframe given by TrinityBridge.
About you | Qualifications, skills and strengths
- At least five years’ experience in a similar capacity within an Asset Management business, Wealth Management business or financial institution.
- Proven account management track record, ideally within IFA distribution.
- Excellent telephone manner, communication, and virtual presentation skills.
- Highly organised and self-motivated, with a proven ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results with minimal supervision whilst working remotely.
- Outstanding attention to detail.
- A team player.
- Resilient and accountable, with a willingness to take ownership of issues and demonstrate persistence in achieving outcomes.
- Commercial awareness, business initiative and emotional intelligence.
- Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
- Able to work under pressure at times, with a positive “can-do” attitude.
- Strong understanding of the UK retail investment market and IFA buying process.
- Proficient MS Word and Excel skills.
