Are you an experienced CNC Turner looking for a permanent opportunity within a busy and fast‑paced engineering environment?
The Role
- Operate and programme CNC turning machines
- Manufacture precision engineered components to customer specifications
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical information
- Carry out machine adjustments and tooling changes where required
- Inspect finished components to ensure quality standards and tolerances are met
- Work efficiently to production deadlines within a fast‑paced environment
- Maintain high housekeeping and health & safety standards
- Work collaboratively with production and engineering teams
What We Are Looking For
- Previous experience operating and programming CNC turning machines
- Must be able to work a permanent afternoon shift
- Strong understanding of precision machining
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Good attention to detail and quality standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong understanding of health & safety within manufacturing
Package
- £16.50 - £18.50 per hour dependent on experience
- Monday - Thursday shift pattern
- Working hours: 3:45 pm – 1:45 am
- 24 days annual leave plus bank holidays
- Overtime available paid at enhanced rates (1.3x weekdays, 1.5x weekends)
