What you’ll be doing:

  • You’ll primarily carry out quality gate inspections and support other quality-related tasks across the machine shop. Under the guidance of the Machine Shop Quality Manager, your role will include:
  • Performing visual and dimensional inspections using manual tools (verniers, bore gauges, micrometers – training provided)
  • Supporting daily quality containment actions
  • Assisting with process reject evaluations and inspection record management
  • Running CMM programs and ensuring timely PDI pass-off of parts

What we’re looking for:

  • Some familiarity with manual inspection equipment is helpful but not essential – we’ll train you
  • A self-motivated, flexible individual with good attention to detail
  • Someone who’s reliable, eager to learn, and can work effectively in a team

The details:

  • Location: Brierley Hill
  • Hours: Monday – Thursday 7:00am–4:00pm | Friday 7:00am–3:00pm
  • Salary: National Minimum Wage
  • Holiday: 25 days annual leave + bank holidays
