Are you a Quality Lead Inspector / Quality Manager looking for a hands‑on, senior role? Do you enjoy taking ownership of product quality and preventing issues before they arise? We are working with a well‑established engineering company to recruit a Quality Lead Inspector / Quality Manager. This role has become available due to retirement and offers the chance to take full ownership of quality processes across the business.

The Role

  • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings to ensure product compliance
  • Leading audits and maintaining ISO standards across the company
  • Managing and resolving quality issues while implementing preventive measures
  • Ensuring quality in hot work environments such as press, forge, or foundry operations
  • Working closely with production teams to maintain high‑quality standards
  • Using IT systems effectively to record, monitor, and report quality data

This role requires someone with a strong character who can influence teams, drive improvements, and maintain high standards. You'll be hands‑on where needed but also confident in IT and reporting responsibilities.

  • Proven experience in quality inspection and auditing
