Laser Operator / Setter in Nottingham

Are you an experienced Laser Cutting Operator looking to join a busy and growing manufacturing environment? We are currently recruiting for a motivated and detail-oriented Laser Cutting Operator to join a well-established production team in Nottingham. This role is ideal for someone with previous laser cutting experience who takes pride in producing high-quality components while maintaining excellent productivity and safety standards. The Role: * Set up, operate, and monitor laser cutting machinery * Produce components in line with engineering drawings and production schedules * Load and unload materials safely and efficiently * Carry out tooling changes and machine adjustments where required * Read and interpret engineering drawings, work instructions, and production documentation * Perform quality inspections using measuring equipment including verniers, micrometers, and gauges * Monitor machine performance and report any production or quality concerns * Complete production records and paperwork accurately * Carry out routine machine maintenance and preventative maintenance checks Requirements: * Previous experience operating laser cutting machinery within manufacturing * Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings * Experience using measuring equipment * Strong attention to detail and quality standards Desirable: * Experience operating CNC laser cutting equip...
