Are you an experienced Quality or Compliance professional looking for a hands-on role where you can genuinely make an impact within a growing manufacturing business? We are recruiting for a Lead Quality Engineer to take ownership of quality, compliance and continuous improvement activities across a busy engineering and manufacturing environment. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working closely with multiple departments, implementing effective processes and procedures, and driving standards forward.

Duties Include:

  • Leading and maintaining ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 compliance
  • Supporting the future implementation of ISO 45001
  • Managing internal and external audits
  • Implementing and monitoring processes and procedures across the business
  • Leading root cause analysis and corrective actions
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives
  • Producing and monitoring quality and compliance KPIs
  • Maintaining compliance documentation and audit records
  • Working closely with all departments across the business
  • Supporting future implementation of a QMS/BMS system

The Successful Candidate:

  • Previous experience within a Quality, Compliance or Engineering role within manufacturing
  • Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001
  • Experience managing audits
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Able to work independently and manage priorities effectively

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of ISO 45001
  • Lead Auditor qualification
  • Experience within metal manufacturing or construction products
  • Experience implementing QMS or BMS systems

On Offer:

  • Salary: £38,000 - £40,000
  • Location: Dudley
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4:30pm
