Are you a Facilities Engineer with strong hydraulic and pneumatic experience? Looking for a local role with variety, stability, and room to grow? We’re recruiting for a Mechanical Facilities Engineer to join a well-established team in Halesowen, supporting day-to-day site maintenance, including dock levellers, loading bay equipment, roller shutters, barriers, and general facilities upkeep. This is a new, permanent role, reporting to the Projects & Facilities Manager.
What’s in it for you?
- £35,000 – £38,000 per annum
- Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm (37.5 hours)
- Twice-yearly bonus scheme
- Local travel (mostly within 10 miles) with occasional travel to other UK sites such as Liverpool

The ideal candidate will:
- Have at least 3 years’ experience in facilities or mechanical maintenance
- Be confident reading and working from engineering drawings
- Have experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and loading bay systems
- Be IT proficient (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Be eligible to work in the UK and hold a full, clean driving licence
It’s a bonus if you have:
- NVQ Level 3 or above in Engineering
- Welding/fabrication experience
- IPAF, PASMA, or forklift truck certification
- Electrical knowledge or 17th Edition (not essential but beneficial)
