Are you an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer ready to step into a leadership role? Want to work for a precision manufacturer with global reach and great benefits? A UK-based manufacturer of high-precision components, supplying industries across the UK and overseas, is looking to appoint an Electrical Maintenance Supervisor. This is a hands-on leadership role, where you’ll lead a team of five and take ownership of all site electrical maintenance activity.
What's on offer:
- £45,000 – £50,000 per annum
- Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm
- 33 days holiday (including bank holidays)
- Pension + Cash Health Care Scheme
In this role, you’ll be:
- Supervising a team of 4 Engineers and 1 Apprentice
- Providing electrical maintenance across equipment, facilities and plant machinery
- Managing and delivering PPM/TPM schedules
- Reacting swiftly to breakdowns, diagnosing and resolving issues
- Reading electrical/panel drawings and fault finding to component level
- Using PLC fault-finding and interrogation (Siemens, Mitsubishi, Allen Bradley)
- Overseeing installation and commissioning of new equipment
What we’re looking for:
- A time-served Electrical Maintenance Engineer, ideally from a heavy industry or heavy engineering background
- An electrical qualification (Level 3 or above)
- Strong skills in PLC fault diagnosis and electrical panel work
- A proactive, team-focused approach with the ability to lead by example
