Are you an experienced Quality or Compliance professional looking for a hands-on role where you can genuinely make an impact within a growing manufacturing business? We are recruiting for a Lead Quality Engineer to take ownership of quality, compliance and continuous improvement activities across a busy engineering and manufacturing environment. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working closely with multiple departments, implementing effective processes and procedures, and driving standards forward.
Duties Include:
- Leading and maintaining ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 compliance
- Supporting the future implementation of ISO 45001
- Managing internal and external audits
- Implementing and monitoring processes and procedures across the business
- Leading root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives
- Producing and monitoring quality and compliance KPIs
- Maintaining compliance documentation and audit records
- Working closely with all departments across the business
- Supporting future implementation of a QMS/BMS system
The Successful Candidate:
- Previous experience within a Quality, Compliance or Engineering role within manufacturing
- Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001
- Experience managing audits
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Able to work independently and manage priorities effectively
Desirable:
- Knowledge of ISO 45001
- Lead Auditor qualification
- Experience within metal manufacturing or construction products
- Experience implementing QMS or BMS systems
On Offer:
- Salary: £38,000 - £40,000
- Location: Dudley
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pm
