Are you an experienced CNC Turner looking for a permanent opportunity within a busy and fast-paced engineering environment? We are currently recruiting for skilled CNC Turners to join a well-established manufacturing business in Nottingham. This role would suit someone with experience operating and programming CNC turning machines who takes pride in producing high-quality precision components.

The Role

  • Operate and programme CNC turning machines
  • Manufacture precision engineered components to customer specifications
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical information
  • Carry out machine adjustments and tooling changes where required
  • Inspect finished components to ensure quality standards and tolerances are met
  • Work efficiently to production deadlines within a fast-paced environment
  • Maintain high housekeeping and health & safety standards
  • Work collaboratively with production and engineering teams

What We Are Looking For

  • Previous experience operating and programming CNC turning machines
  • Must be able to work a permanent afternoon shift
  • Strong understanding of precision machining
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Good attention to detail and quality standards
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong understanding of health & safety within manufacturing

Package

  • £16.50 - £18.50 per hour dependent on experience
  • Monday – Thursday shift pattern
  • Working hours: 3:45pm – 1:45am
  • 24 days annual leave plus bank holidays
  • Overtime available paid at enhanced rates: (1.3x weekdays, 1.5x weekends)
  • Permanent opportunity within a stable engineering environment
