A number of our pupils also have an Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC). We are seeking enthusiastic, caring and committed Special Needs Teaching Assistants to join our outstanding school community. Successful applicants may be appointed to work within our Primary, Secondary or Sixth Form provision. Main Responsibilities
- Support pupils' learning, development and wellbeing within the classroom and around the school.
- Work under the direction of teaching staff to deliver high-quality learning opportunities.
- Assist pupils with communication, engagement, behaviour and social development.
- Support pupils with personal care, feeding and mobility needs where required.
- Promote independence and positive outcomes for all learners.
- Contribute to maintaining a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, parents and other professionals.
- Uphold the school's safeguarding policies and procedures at all times.
