About the Role
We are looking for an Assistant Chaplain to join our Trinity Chaplaincy team. The pastoral needs of our students are growing and we require a positive, dynamic, "Jesus loving" Christian role model to work alongside many of our male students.
Core Responsibilities
- Provide pastoral support, discipleship and mentoring to male students.
- Contribute to the school’s Christian ethos through participation in Acts of Worship and key services.
- Plan, lead and deliver the STRENGTH mentoring boys course.
- Generate vision and energy within youth discipleship initiatives.
Qualifications
- Committed and practising Christian, able to model and share the love of Jesus.
- Essential previous experience within a school or church environment working with young people.
- Experience dealing with young people and adults seeking faith and with youth experiencing emotional, practical or personal problems.
- Ministry or youth ministry experience preferred.
- Good numeracy, literacy and MS Office skills (Excel and Word) required.
- Positive attitude, calm manner, creative and flexible working style, attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
