Salary: £15.68 per hour (pro rata). Hours: 10 hours per week (2 hours per day) Term Time only, Fixed working hours 11:30 am – 1:30 pm. Start: ASAP. Closing date: 12:00 pm on 26 June 2026. Interviews: 6 July 2026.
Responsibilities
- Support pupils at meal times, adapting to levels of understanding, mobility and self‑help skills.
- Supervise toileting and assist with changing for children and young people who are not continent.
- Provide personal care with support and training when required.
- Demonstrate commitment to working with children who have severe learning disabilities.
- Maintain excellent attendance and engage in annual training and refreshers.
Qualifications & Experience
- Previous experience working with children, vulnerable adults or in a caring profession.
- Preference for experience with children who have special educational needs.
- Capability of dealing with difficult and challenging behaviours.
- Minimum GCSE (A–C) required.
