We are seeking to appoint an outstanding teacher and creative leader to the post of Curriculum Leader for English. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and develop the work of our English department.

The English Department is a large, friendly and supportive team of 16 members of staff – eight part‑time and eight full‑time. It offers a diachronic study of literature across Key Stages 3 to 5, preparing students for GCSE and A‑level qualifications.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop the work of the English department.
  • Motivate and inspire teachers and students alike.
  • Implement and oversee curriculum across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Proven track record of achieving excellent results.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire teachers and students.
  • Successful candidates will need to undertake an enhanced DBS check.
