What You'll Be Doing:

  • As the go-to Technical Designer on a cross-functional team, you’ll take center stage in bringing big ideas to life.
  • Transforming approved concepts into glorious 3D models and manufacturing drawings.
  • Whipping out quick sketches to solve tricky assembly puzzles or help cost things up.
  • Designing within budget.
  • Tag-teaming with Project Buyers to match designs with the right suppliers, globally.
  • Occasionally jet-setting to factories in the UK or abroad to ensure everything is spot-on.
  • Playing prototype detective – reviewing, tweaking, and presenting to clients with confidence.
  • Keeping designs smart, safe, stunning – and always client-ready.
  • Creating top-notch documentation: parts lists, QC reports, guides, and more.
  • Staying on top of deadlines, owning your time, and communicating like a pro.

What You Bring to the Table:

  • A degree in Product Design Engineering or something similarly cool (nice to have).
  • Solid experience in POP/fixture design.
  • A ninja-level understanding of materials and manufacturing processes:
  • Metal: sheet, wire, tubular, welding.
  • Plastic: vacuum forming, injection moulding, extrusion.
  • Wood: cutting, crafting, finishing.
  • Mad skills in SolidWorks (or similar 3D CAD), plus a bit of Microsoft wizardry.
  • Sketching that makes people go “whoa.”
  • Stellar communication, a can-do attitude, and time management that keeps everything on track.
  • A positive approach to problem-solving.
  • Detail obsession and people skills that shine, even under pressure.
  • A passport ready to be stamped – occasional travel is part of the adventure.
