Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop digital & analogue circuits, PCBs, and complete systems
- Lead projects from initial concept through design, manufacture, and customer acceptance
- Drive systems integration and hands‑on fault finding to ensure robust performance
- Collaborate closely with internal teams and external stakeholders, including test houses
- Ensure compliance with CE/UKCA, EMC, RoHS, and Safety standards
- Prepare detailed technical documentation: schematics, BOMs, change notes
- Present at design reviews and support technical discussions confidently
What You’ll Bring:
- Proven experience in electronics design and development (digital and analogue)
- Proficiency with OrCAD or similar schematic capture and PCB design tools
- Solid knowledge of legislative compliance: UKCA/CE, EMC, RoHS, and Safety standards
- Strong hands‑on skills with excellent fault‑finding and systems integration expertise
- Degree in Electronics, Engineering, or equivalent qualification
- Current live UK Security Clearance (SC) – DV eligibility essential
- Experience working with MoD customers and defence equipment standards (Sonar experience is a strong advantage)
- Excellent collaboration, communication, and problem‑solving skills
