About the Role - They are looking for a Senior Retail Designer to join one of their teams in London and work on an account who are one of the biggest tech brands in the world. You will be a hands-on retail designer who will provide expertise in creative, design and production capability in retail fixtures and CX strategy. Working with an amazing Design Lead to bring new fixture concepts to life! You will take fixtures from schematic design and work with production managers to successfully see it through production.
Responsibilities:
- Support the design lead in assessing the viability of fixture requests.
- Support and advise on adaptation of fixtures to meet the needs of regional retailers.
- Ensure fixture designs support business and product experience goals.
- Work in collaboration with the production and GTM teams to create renderings and drawing assets.
- Develop dimensional schematic drawings and material specifications.
- Review production engineering drawings.
- Review production prototypes.
- Create shop-in-shop and pop-up designs.
- 2D graphic concepting - Store experience design, seasonal campaign design.
Required Skills:
- Incredible hands-on retail design experience.
- Experience in retail fixture design and retail CX design.
- Presentation skills and pitch deck design.
- Proven ability to perform and apply design skills to create bespoke graphics, digital and print campaigns.
- Solid understanding of materials and production processes.
- Demonstrate an understanding of the customer journey across retail channels: from digital to physical presence.
- Keen eye for detail.
- Experience with fixture engineering drawings is preferred.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment, and with many cross-functional teams.
- Software experience required: Sketchup Pro (preferred), 3D modelling: Cinema 4D, Vray, CAD drawing: Autocad, Vectorworks, Adobe: Photoshop, Illustrator. Digital skills preferred.
Pay range and compensation package - Paying a fantastic salary, benefits plus bonus and very strong hybrid working (i.e. 1 to 2 days a week in the office).
