The Opportunity
- Working closely with the finance team, you'll play a key role in ensuring supplier accounts and financial records are maintained accurately and efficiently.
- Your responsibilities will include:
- Processing and posting supplier invoices onto Sage 50
- Maintaining accurate supplier records and master data
- Ensuring supplier payment information is accurate and compliant with internal procedures
- Posting cash transactions and completing statement reconciliations
- Maintaining supplier documentation and financial records
- Supporting the wider finance team with day-to-day accounting administration
- Assisting with continuous improvements to finance processes and procedures
About You
- We're looking for someone who enjoys working in a structured environment and takes pride in producing accurate work. You'll ideally have:
- Previous experience in an Accounts Payable, Purchase Ledger, Finance Assistant or Accounts Assistant role
- Experience using Sage 50 or similar accounting software
- Strong data entry skills and exceptional attention to detail
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- The ability to manage your workload effectively and meet deadlines
- A positive, proactive approach and excellent communication skills
