  • Keeping Datasheet Libraries shipshape — technical data, safety docs, RoHS compliance, you name it
  • Running Failure Modes, Effects & Criticality Analyses (FMECA) — spotting issues before they happen
  • Predicting reliability with MTBF data from OEMs, suppliers & MIL‑HDBK‑217
  • Managing and reporting in the Data Reporting and Corrective Action System (DRACAS)
  • Supporting the ILS team with obsolescence and maintainability tasks

Ideally you will need:

  • Experience in Defence or related sectors (MoD, military, contractors – your call!)
  • Know your way around Safety Defence Standards (00‑55, 00‑56) & Reliability Standards (00‑42, 00‑44)
  • Engineering HND under your belt and working towards Eng Tech Professional Registration? Even better!
  • Human Factors experience — because safety isn’t just tech, it’s people too
  • Sharp with data collection and analysis for product reliability and safety
  • A quality‑first mindset with a knack for delivering on time and on point
  • Independent worker who can still jam with the team and handle changing demands like a pro
  • Computer whiz with MS Office, plus clear communication skills
  • Must have a UK Passport — SC clearance eligibility is a must (no current clearance needed)

What’s in it for you?

  • Full lifecycle exposure — chart your own career path from Graduate Engineer right up to Technical Director
  • Flexible working hours — core times only, so you can balance life & work like a boss
  • Paid overtime or time off in lieu — up to 24 extra days of leave a year
  • Role‑specific allowances so you’re never out of pocket
  • Holiday shutdown over Christmas/New Year — because everyone deserves a break
  • Employer‑matched pension scheme, private medical care, training, and upskilling
  • Salary sacrifice schemes, gym discounts, and even an onsite gym at our Chertsey office
  • This job can be based in Woking or Weymouth, relocation package possible with this opportunity.
