Are you a detail-driven CAD Technician who enjoys bringing residential projects to life from concept through to construction? We’re working with a well-established and highly respected architectural practice that specialises in high-quality residential developments across Buckinghamshire and the Thames Valley. With a strong pipeline of projects ranging from bespoke extensions and refurbishments through to new-build homes, this is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative and growing technical team.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Producing accurate 2D CAD drawings across all RIBA stages
  • Creating planning application and construction drawing packages
  • Supporting architects and project leads with technical delivery
  • Coordinating drawings with consultants and external stakeholders
  • Assisting with surveys, technical detailing and documentation
  • Working on a wide variety of residential projects including:
    • Extensions
    • Conversions
    • Refurbishments
    • New-build homes

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience as a CAD Technician within a UK architectural or residential design environment
  • Strong AutoCAD skills
  • Good understanding of UK Building Regulations and planning processes
  • Residential sector experience preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and communication skills

Nice to have:

  • Revit or BIM exposure
  • Planning Portal experience
  • Architectural Technology qualification
  • 3D visualisation software knowledge
