Working closely with senior Technology leadership, you'll provide financial insight, governance and commercial challenge across a significant technology portfolio.

You'll play a key role in ensuring technology investment is financially robust, budgets are well managed, and business decisions are supported by clear commercial analysis.

This is a highly visible position requiring excellent relationship-building skills and the confidence to influence senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with senior Technology leaders to provide commercial financial support and challenge.
  • Lead annual budgeting, forecasting and long-range financial planning for the Technology function.
  • Deliver insightful financial reporting, variance analysis and scenario modelling.
  • Support investment decisions through robust business cases and financial modelling.
  • Provide visibility across Technology spend, including software, cloud services, infrastructure, projects and third-party suppliers.
  • Identify opportunities to optimise costs while improving financial governance and transparency.
  • Build strong relationships across both Finance and Technology teams.
  • Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, reporting and planning.

About You

We're keen to speak with commercially focused Finance Business Partners who have experience supporting Technology, IT or Digital functions within medium or large organisations.

You’ll ideally bring

  • Proven Finance Business Partnering experience.
  • Strong budgeting, forecasting and financial planning expertise.
  • Advanced financial modelling and analytical skills.
  • Experience supporting senior Technology or Digital stakeholders.
  • The ability to influence, challenge and build credibility with senior leaders.
  • Strong commercial acumen with excellent communication skills.
  • A proactive approach to continuous improvement and process optimisation.

Exposure to Technology cost structures such as cloud, software licensing, infrastructure or digital investment would be highly advantageous, although candidates with strong transferable Technology Finance experience will also be considered.
