Shift Pattern: 4 days on / 4 days off | 12-hour shifts

We are looking for a hands-on Shift Engineer to take ownership of engineering operations across a busy industrial laundry facility. Working on a 4-on, 4-off shift pattern, you'll be the engineering lead on duty, keeping critical machinery running safely, efficiently and reliably. This is an ideal opportunity for a skilled multi-skilled engineer who enjoys fault-finding, solving problems and taking ownership in a fast-paced production environment.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Take full ownership of engineering activity throughout your shift.
  • Respond quickly to breakdowns and minimise production downtime.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and control system faults.
  • Maintain and repair industrial equipment including washers, dryers, feeders, ironers, folders, conveyors and automated handling systems.
  • Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and ensure equipment remains safe and operational.
  • Investigate recurring faults and identify permanent solutions to improve reliability.
  • Prioritise engineering issues based on safety, production requirements and operational efficiency.
