We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Systems Engineer to join our client, who are a defence contractor and specialise in the design, development and integration of Communication and Electronic Systems across Land and Sea.

As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for defining, developing, and delivering complex systems that incorporate specialist sensors, electronics, signal processing firmware, and software. Your role will span the entire systems development lifecycle — from initial planning and design, through implementation, integration, and testing, to final customer acceptance.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating closely with multi-disciplinary engineering teams (hardware, firmware, software).
  • Ensuring that delivered systems meet all performance, quality, and customer requirements.

Requirements:

  • Ability to attain SC or DV UK Security Clearance.
  • Solid experience across the full systems engineering lifecycle.
  • Hands-on expertise with system integration and testing.
  • Comfortable working collaboratively across engineering disciplines.
  • Knowledge of electronics and embedded software/firmware integration.
